How To Install kali linux on M1 VMware fusion

 As the Apple's new m1 silicon chip has launched which performs quite better than amd64 chipsets but lacks support of many softwares including virtualisation softwares like VMware workstation and virtual box which makes it difficult to virtualise and run any operating system including kali linux or any other linux or windows systems. So I am going to tell you two ways ( both paid and free) to virtualise and use kali operating system. you can use it depending upon what your budget is.


Paid installation of kali linux using parallels

1. Go to parallels official website.
2. Install the parallels file on your Mac m1 computer.
3. Buy the License of parallels on the parallels website.
4. Now, Paste the Activation code in parallels application and activate it,
5. Go to installation section and click in kali linux button to install and setup the kali machine.
6. Allote 2gb ram and 2  processing cores for better performance.
7. Click on the play button to run kali machine

Free installation of kali linux using VMware Fusion

If you are facing difficulties in running Kali linux using VMware fusion player than try to install this version of VMware fusion tech preview using the Zsecurity download page to run Kali smoothly, but keep this in mind that this version only runs kali machine, to use windows 10 or 11 you need to install latest version of VMware fusion tech preview 2h2 from VMware official website. Basically, you use only one operating system at a time using VMware fusion, to use kali linux visualisation kindly install the given version of VMware fusion on your Mac m1 and follow the instructions provided below.

- Vmware Fusion arm 

1. Install the  required vmware fusion version in you Mac m1.
2. Now install the kali linux arm image from kali official site or better version of kali is also available on zsecurity website.
3. Double click on the vmdx file extension after extracting the file, it will open in VMware fusion.
4. Now set minimum ram at 2gb  and 2  processing cores for complete lag free experience.
5. Click on run button
